Platonium provides competitively priced professional bookkeeping services and advice to all small and medium-sized businesses (including home offices, self-employed individuals, and corporations). Unless otherwise requested, the majority of bookkeeping and accounting work is completed off-site.
We will save you time by processing your suppliers' invoices, preparing cheques to pay your suppliers (if requested), preparing and submitting your sales invoices (if required), submitting all payroll deductions, GST Returns, PST Returns, and other finance and administrative matters.

We will also save you money because our competitive rates are generally lower than hiring a full-time or part-time bookkeeper and accountant. After the bookkeeping work is finished, we will also provide accounting services such as monthly or yearly financial statements and other reports as needed.
Our prices are tailored to your specific requirements. We work with you to determine your costs on an ongoing basis.
We offer two pricing options:
We offer both Fixed Flat Rate Pricing and hourly-based rate pricing.

Flat Rate Pricing:
Our fee for bookkeeping service is based upon the volume of transactions in a reporting period and also on the overall complexity of your business. Factors affecting our fee structure include:

Number of customer invoices

Number of checks written

Number of employees and pay frequency

Financial and management reports requirement

Number of bank accounts and credit card accounts to be reconciled

Current state of your accounting records

Our typical start-up package is R3000/month which includes 8 hours of bookkeeping service each month. Extra time is charged at R350 an hour. The fee does not include out-of-pocket expenses, for example, postage and stationery.
Hourly Base rate Pricing:
Our rates vary between R300.00 to R500.00 per hour depending on the level of complexity and volume. The total hours of service each month depends on the size of your company and the services required. Our pricing is highly competitive. We are to some degree flexible on the billing rate, so if you have any questions please contact us for more details.

Rule of thumb:
Wondering how much you should expect to pay to have your bookkeeping done professionally? The lower and upper estimated costs for these types of services are R7.30 and R8.60 per transaction, respectively.
